Why and on what basis
We reply to emails and consider suggestions on the basis of our legitimate interest in running the site and your request. We keep server logs on the basis of legitimate interest in keeping the site secure. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising profiles.
How long we keep it
Emails are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted unless a suggestion is credited in a published guide with your permission. Server logs are kept for up to 30 days.
Who we share it with
Only our hosting and email providers, acting as processors under written contracts. Where data is processed outside the UK, appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum apply.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you may request access to, correction or deletion of your information, object to or restrict its use, and request portability.
